From The Oval Office

Thanks to everyone that helped on the work day. All of the jobs were completed as expected, and the field is now tidied up for this year.

The family fun fly turned out to be a good day. We had a good turnout of members, and a nice number of families too. I think everyone had a good time, and a good day flying.

Summer is now in full swing, and there are a good number of people flying on the weekends, and in the evenings. Lets continue to fly safely, and within the club rules, and most of all, have fun doing it.

Thank You.

See you at the next meeting.

Ron Bachman

President

Notes from the last club meeting

A motion was passed to pay for the drinks machine. We have had the machine on approval for a few months. Electricity usage turned out to be ok, so we decided that it was ok to keep the machine.

Discussion was heard on the club making a donation to Bobby Butler for his hard work bulldozing the racetrack. Some members were in favor, and some were opposed. It was decided that there were not enough members present at the meeting to make a decision, and therefore the motion has been held until there are enough members present to vote on it. Please try to attend the next meeting so that we can resolve this issue asap.
